‘Destiny’ – “Pure Human Kill” Shows You How To Get To The New Loot Cave

cadmin_0zz

At this point in time, I can’t tell if these loot cave-esque areas that keep popping up are intentionally inserted into the game or if they are some freak occurrence that is “governed by the same chaos that influences all the loot drops.” But wouldn’t you know it, a player has happened across a new “legendary” loot cave and also points out a new area to farm Glimmer.

destiny

In the video, which you can see below, “Pure Human Kill” shows you how to get to the new loot cave which is on Venus, through which he got a number of Engrams. Moving on into the world he shows you a nice little area that you can reach which will let you see the enemy spawn into the game world, opening them up to some easy killing which will, if you have the time, reward you with a massive amount of drops. Check it out if you’re into farming.

Destiny  power leveling is now available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. There is a chance that the game might make it over to the PC at some point however nothing is confirmed at the moment.

‘Destiny’ – Yet To Be Released Was The Fallen-Focused House Of Wolves

cadmin_0zz

Until now, the only confirmed piece of add-on content for Destiny yet to be released was the Fallen-focused House of Wolves, the game’s second expansion. However, at Activision’s earnings call yesterday, the publisher revealed that there’s a lot more to come as we reach deeper into 2015.

destiny

CEO Eric Hirshberg said: “We have a second [Destiny] expansion on the way, and a major content release coming in the fall.” What that ‘major content release’ actually refers to is anyone’s guess at this point, but it’s worth noting that recently, a leaked Destiny  power leveling launch timeline highlighted something named ‘Comet’, which is supposedly launching in the autumn, and appears to be a much heftier download than we’ve seen previously.

Whatever it is that Hirshberg mentioned, though, we reckon that it’ll be Activision’s way of annualising the franchise without actually releasing a sequel. As such, we’re just hoping that the firm doesn’t slap an extortionate price tag on it, but given the cost of the shooter’s unsubstantial DLC so far, that’s looking highly unlikely.

Window Revealed, As Bungie Teases Fall Announcement From Desiny

Second expansion to launch before end of June, while Bungie also teases a Destiny power leveling announcement for this fall.

House of Wolves, the second major expansion for Bungie’s shooter Destiny, will launch sometime in the second quarter of 2015. That means it will be released within the April-June timeframe. Bungie confirmed the new release window today in a post on its website.

Details about House of Wolves emerged earlier this week, but Bungie isn’t quite ready to talk specifics about the expansion.

“We’re keeping all other details under wraps for now,” the developer said. “There is a special team here that’s dedicated to creating some new ways for you to play Destiny. They’re also making the game you know a better reflection of what we’ve learned about you since you’ve started playing.”

“While they do their thing, we’ll walk the fine line between making you a part of the process and providing them with a safe place to explore possibilities and do their best work.”

Bungie also reminded gamers that official information about House of Wolves will come from the Bungie Blog itself, not outside sources.

“Enjoy the speculation and discussion that makes an Internet community fun, but stay tuned here so we can go on record about what awaits you as ‘Q2’ draws nearer,” Bungie said.

Finally, Bungie teased that something Destiny-related is coming this fall. Could it be information about Destiny 2, which Activision previously confirmed was in development? It’s too early to say, unfortunately.

“And on a long enough timeline, we’ll also talk about what we’re planning for this Fall,” Bungie said.

House of Wolves follows Destiny’s first expansion pack, The Dark Below, which launched in December 2014. Both add-ons are included with the $35 Destiny Expansion Pass.

Destiny: Successfully Defeat The Squad Earn The ’emblem of legends’

DESTINY’S latest Bungie bounty will pit the Invigorate Gaming team, first in the world to beat both in-game raids, against the rest of the PS4 community this week.

destiny

Five members from the renowned Destiny squad will face off in a Destiny control match alongside Bungie community manager, David Dague. Destiny power leveling offer help.

The event starts on Wednesday, February 4 and runs from 3-5 AM GMT on the Sony console.

“The mission (as well as the platform) is chosen by the special guests,” the community manager explained.

“Invigorate likes Control, and they’ve been practicing – just like they do before a Raid. This time, the loot they fight for is an emblem of legends. If you can match with them, you’ll have a chance of winning it, too.

“Invigorate Gaming is a deadly team. They’ve carved World First status from every Raid boss that we’ve brought to life. Atheon? Check. Crota? Check. Sometimes on Normal. Sometimes on Hard.

“They hunt the big game and they take ’em down. You could say that this is a reverse Bungie Bounty, because now they’re going to hunt you.”

Xbox One fans have been left less than impressed by the announcement, with many commenting on lack of chances they have had to partake in more Bungie Bounty events since the game’s launch last year.

One fan wrote: “How about an event for Xbox hmm?

“On October 15 DeeJ said Xbox gamers on deck for Bungie Bounty. That must be a very long deck.”

‘Destiny’ – Cracking Down On The Corruption Of Officials

Action against officials of 30 multipurpose cooperative societies including Destiny was underway in connection with money embezzlement, State Minister for LGRD Mashiur Rahaman Ranga told the House yesterday.

Replying to a lawmaker’s query during a question-answer session, Ranga on behalf of LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Syed Ashraful Islam said investigation against the multipurpose cooperative societies had already completed.

“In line with the investigation report, the process of taking actions against staff and officials of the cooperative societies is now underway,” he added. He also placed a list of the 30 multipurpose societies that allegedly embezzled money from the people.

Replying to a supplementary question, the state minister said clients of Destiny would get back their money.

“They [clients] will get back the money one day. The money was not siphoned off anywhere yet. Its property is now under our watch,” he added.

In response to another lawmaker’s question, Ranga said polls to the Dhaka city corporations — North and South — would be held after resolving demarcation complexities.

Replying to another question, the LGRD minister in written informed the House that high levels of arsenic [more than 50 ppb] were found in 29 percent of the deep tube-wells tested in the country’s 271 upazilas.

“Water of 50 lakh deep tube-wells in 271 upazilas was tested. Excessive arsenic contamination [over 50 ppb] was found in 29 percent or 14.5 lakh deep tube-wells,” he added.

The government was conducting tests in 32 arsenic-prone areas in the country and the tests would be completed by 2016, he added. Destiny-store offers more game information.

Destiny: Xûr Has Offered Up For Exotic Weapons

cadmin_0zz

The weekly visit by Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is usually one that generally produces mixed feelings from among Destiny power leveling. The Exotic armor and weapons being sold this past week were a little special as they were an exact duplicate from four weeks prior. This caused PlayStation and Xbox players to question whether the vendor’s goods were random, forcing Bungie to respond.

destiny

The argument that what Xûr offers for sale is determined by Bungie was the following video captured by Bungie forum user wikiddd from a now-deleted Twitch broadcast.

In the video, Community Manager David “DeeJ” Dague can be heard stating, “Xûr doesn’t tell me what he’s up to, neither does anyone else. It is not random. There is a plan.”

This forced Dague to respond about the seeming lack of randomness in Xûr’s inventory and deliver an apology for miscommunicating how the vendor’s inventory is supposed to work.

“Hey, there. Let me attempt to clear some things up here.

“Xur is randomized. There are times when we can pull off miracles like making him stay in the Tower longer when Christmas is cancelled, but his inventory is governed by the same chaos that influences all the loot drops.

“Comments in that video about “the plan” were more about the fact that we know what he’s selling before he appears, even if we can’t reach out and stock his shelves ourselves. We set him in motion, and his will is not his own.

“Also in that video, you can hear me confessing that I’m not always in the loop when it comes to these things, so you should take pre-game lobby comments among friends with a grain of salt. That video was from months ago, and I was still learning the intricacies of all the new systems that we launched with the game.

“These conspiracy theories are symptoms of a burning desire. Gjallarhorn is the most popular ask that comes my way. I know you want it, even more than the collective requests for more vault space. As you can see, these are things that are beyond my control. I don’t have one either.

“I’ll do my best to talk to the people who create the code that drives Xur, and see if we can make him more valuable to you in the future.

It may be a case that while Xûr’s inventory is random, every piece of Exotic armor and weapon are weighted to favor some items over others. That would explain why Exotic items from The Dark Below have been heavily favored since the expansion’s release and why some of the game’s most powerful weapons, like Icebreaker and Gjallarhorn, have rarely been seen. The first has only been on sale twice while the latter was only on sale once, the second week after the game’s release.

Let’s look at what Xûr has offered up for Exotic weapons over the past eight weeks since The Dark Below was released. It shows an even distribution of weapons from the expansion and weapons that came with the game at launch. However, only two weapons make all four appearances for The Dark Below.

  • Dragon’s Breath (TDB weapon) – 2 appearances
  • No Land Beyond (TDB weapon) – 2 appearances
  • The Last Word (Launch weapon) – 1 appearance
  • Patience and Time (Launch weapon) – 1 appearance
  • Truth (Launch weapon) – 1 appearance
  • Ice Breaker (Launch weapon) – 1 appearance

The armor selections show a similar distribution but are weighted slightly towards certain pieces from The Dark Below by a margin of 13 to 11. Again though, pieces like Mk. 44 Stand Asides (three appearances) and Starfire Protocol (four appearances) from the expansion have shown repeatedly, suggesting that there is some weighting towards them.
